In 1761 the Jews Abramowicz, Tobiaszowicz, Lezanski and Dukielski again petitioned for a cemetery but this time we do find the synagogue's existence mentioned. It is very possible that the aged Sanguszko did finally, before his death in June 1750, agree to the building of a synagogue, the so-called "older" synagogue (which the Germans destroyed in 1941).
