Donate to Gesher Galicia

You can make a donation to Gesher Galcia — which, as a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is tax-deductible in the United States — using PayPal. Our PayPal address is geshergalicia@comcast.net, or you can use the button below:

You can also choose individual Galicia-related projects that are administered through JewishGen, by donating on their website. (Note that JewishGen is a separate non-profit organization.)

The current list of projects on that website includes the Brody Cemetery Project and translations of Yizkor Books for the towns of Ivano-Frankivsk (Ukraine), Kolomyya (Ukraine), Lańcut (Poland), Przemyśl (Poland), Rzeszow (Poland), and Sanok (Poland). You can also use the JewishGen site to donate to the Gesher Galicia SIG General Fund and the JewishGen General Fund.

In the near future, this donation webpage will be updated to allow easier donations to specific individual Gesher Galicia projects, including individual towns covered by the Galician Archival Record Project (GARP).

Gesher Galicia is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people research their Jewish family roots in the former Austro-Hungarian Empire province of Galicia, which is today southeastern Poland and southwestern Ukraine. Our organization's primary focus is researching Jewish roots in Galicia, but the diverse community records in our databases contain names that span all the ethnic and religious groups who once lived in this region.
